Route Overview and Progress

Callford Line - Trainz a new Era Overview and Progress

Overview

I am currently working on a route for Trainz a new era, set in and around the fictional City of Callford, which when finished will Provide Opportunity for sessions of Varying Degrees of Length, Skill and Accuracy. However, I only have Limited Time to Work on the Route due to other Commitments.

The Route itself is Set in the Latter years of British Steam and features assets from the Settle and Carlise add-on which is available from Simulator Central along with Trainz a New Era, the route itself uses other than Already mentioned uses Mostly Freeware Content, 90-100% of which is available on the Trainz Download Station.

The Routes (Planned) Most Sothern Point is Penrift Granite Loaders Along the Former Southern Connecting Line, the Most Northernly Part of the route is a Heath Bank Coal Fired Power Station.

Callford itself is Situated at a Bussy transfer Locations for Passengers and Freight destined for different Locations throughout the rail Network and features a Caiotic but not Uncommon Layout for goods Trafic with Multiple Yards, I have plans to Include a couple of branch lines later on Once the main route is Finished.

Current Status

The Route is Still Currently in the Early Stages, I have two of the Goods Yards at Callford Completed and Laid out But not set up to work (Yet), and Much of the track connecting them in Place, also I have Got Callford Central Station in Place, Complete with Coaching stock Stabling sidings and Connecting Track.

What's Next

The Plan Moving Forward is to get the remaining Goods Yards in and set up Correctly as so they can Function as Intended, also a few minor refinements to Callford Central Station Layout and to get Station Signs in Place as well as platform Lights and other minor Ascetics Details, as well as to start Moving along with the main lines from Callford in all Directions.

Nothern and North Eastern Yard Now Completed, Refinements to Callford Central Station Completed and Line Testing. Next Steps: Complete the Southern Yard.
Update 22:31 (BST) - Southern Yard Now Complete, Next Steps: Get Main Lines in and Scenery around Callford Central

Update 17/08/16

Update Of what has being done,
Western Line Now Partially In Place and Starts off with an Uphill Grade averaging around 7-8% (Which I believe to be between 1 in 14.30/11.43) which Is Followed By a Downhill Grade Averaging Between 9-11% (Which I believe to be between 1 in 11.43/8.144) will Post Pictures in Picture Page When Finished. Next Steps: Get Main Lines in and Scenery around Callford Central
